Kassia Krozser at TOC 2011

Many of you will know Kassia Krozser’s excellent Booksquare blog. Here she is talking to Mac Slocum at at O’Reilly Tools of Change on 14 February 2011 about the golden age of publishing – and how publishers and booksellers need to adapt to it.

  • My kids love to read and so I buy lots of books but now all they want is ebooks on the Ipad. This is the future and the market is only going to grow.

  • This is a *great* interview. The other day I asked a local bookseller about the rise of ebooks and they flew into a rage. I didn’t understand the reaction since digital books gives another product with which they could expand. Indeed, they’re still in business even with big box stores. But the idea of digital books was just too threatening to them.
The times they are a-changin’, so get on the spaceship or be left behind.
